Winter time is such a thrill up here in Oregon. Although one may have to wait patiently, the magical days do come and often enough to keep you pretty satisfied. A bright, crisp, sunny morning greeted us on New Year’s Day sending nature seekers to miles of uncluttered beach and headland. As evening approached, photographers busily documented the incredible unfolding scene before them. I got a few gems myself as I happily chased the surf with my camera and tri pod until darkness fell.
