Capturing that moment in time when you are one with your surroundings. Feeding the fires of memory and reflection.
A wind blown spray forms a veil over Silver Falls, west fork Millicoma River, near Coos Bay, oregon. The scenic road to Silver and Golden Falls State park is a winding 21 miles of sometimes one lane road. The park features trails to both falls through old growth coastal Oregon forest. It was late july, and the river was meandering quietly and the falls were a delicate fine mist blowing in the breeze. For this photo I got down and lay on my back in the rocks next to the creek. It was so relaxing, I found it hard to get back up.
